Starnes Bramlett Jewelers est. 1898
128 Years of Heirlooms
The Starnes Story began in 1898 when F.E. Starnes ventured from Union County to Albemarle in search of new ventures. The story goes: as he was riding into town, he fell and landed next to a horseshoe. He took the horseshoe as a sign of good luck, and established his business.
The business has survived through 3 different centuries over 4 generations of jewelers
Now, Dr. Christopher L. Bramlett is at the helm of the business. He took over Starnes Jewelers in 2022, and it became Starnes Bramlett Jewelers. Under this new name, he has continued the Starnes tradition of loyally serving the community. In January of 2024, John Parker Epps, the great-great grandchild of F.E. Starnes, joined the store ranks.
